Review & Plan
Bitten by the genealogy bug? Want to know where to go next? I can review your work, verify your proof and documentation, and then determine your next course of action based on a specific research plan.
Professional Research
Research projects are done in blocks of time; a 20-hour project is a good starting point and includes a research plan, report of findings, documents gathered in research, a pedigree chart and family group sheets, and a log of performed research, all presented in a spiral bound book. Cost: $45/hour
Lineage Society Application
Are you a Daughter of the American Revolution (DAR)? I can document your ancestry proving your connection and submit the application for you. Other societies include the Sons of the American Revolution, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, Jamestowne Society, and many others.
Document Transcription
Have an old document you can't read? I am skilled in paleography (deciphering of historical manuscripts) and will gladly transcribe or abstract it for you.
Record Retrieval
Family History Library and other archive visits to obtain needed documents, including image capture and citation, and hard copy of the record where possible.
Populating/Verifying Family Trees
Information gathered in your research can be entered into family tree software, or existing family trees can be sourced and verified.
